Human resources was somewhat hidden, until it gained a lot of popularity nowadays. It has become quiet important because it expresses the belief that employees and workers are the most valuable resource in any company or organization. Therefore, the institute of Management Development of the American University in Cairo now offers a Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management.

What is the course exactly about?
It’s a study of HR management. It includes all the required philosophies, principles, policies, programs, procedures, and environmental conditions that have an impact on the management of people. The courses will stress on certain aspects like job analysis, performance appraisal, interviewing, training, and development.
The duration of the course is 9 months. Lectures are scheduled once a week, three hours in the evening. Participants should register in the Institute of Management Development at AUC.

“Human Resource Management” by Gary Dessler.

Assignments & Exams
Participants will be responsible to finish all the assignments given to them. They are also obliged to pass a mid-term and a final exam.

Fees:
4000 Egyptian Pounds for Egyptian participants.
2000 US dollars for non-Egyptians.
