The "Future of Work in Egypt" conference focused on several topics related to Human Resources as the importance and Value of Training & Development, Recruitment Practices, Consulting, Certifications and Software Solutions, all which were highlighted through 25+ workshops provided by different leaders from several organizations. Keynote speakers of some workshops were Ms. Mushira El Bardai, HR Director at the AUC and President of the EHRMA, Ms. Noha Zaki, Center Director at Berlitz, Ms. Pauline D'Arcy, Owner and Manager of Pauline D'Arcy Recruitment Agency, Mr. Hazem Hamdy from ELTC... The conference was inaugurated by H.E. the Minister of Manpower and Emigration followed by Dr. Hussein El Gammal, The Social Development Fund Custodian.
Dr. El Gammal then proceeded to give some figures and statistics about the overall population and the Egyptian market. He explained the purpose of the social fund and that its priority, in coordination with the Ministry of Manpower and Emigration, is directed towards employment because it is directly related to income improvement and lifting the standard of living for all. The fund uses two methods mainly to help improve the situation by: Development of small projects and businesses through loans and this is mainly for those projects that give rise to job opportunities. The other method is supporting the skills development of people for needed jobs in the market from researches conducted on that specific matter. Finally, both the Mr. Ahmed El Amawy and Dr. Hussien El Gammal applauded the efforts and purpose of this conference organized by Event Organization and moved on to commence the event by visiting the exhibitors booths. Among the companies were Berlitz, ELTC, IT Corner, Investors in People (IIP), EHRMA, Logic, Oracle, Strategem, Market Insight, Scope, Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), Futech and others. The conference aims to be held at the same time every year and from the opinions of both participants and companies attending, it proved to be successful.
