 skill-link.com participated in the latest job fair organized by the UAE University & the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry inn Al Ain city (May 19 - 22).
The event that attracted 35 public and private sector exhibitors, was inaugurated by the UAE Labor & Social Affairs Minister HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, the President of the UAE University Mr. Hadef El Zahry and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce General Manager: Mr. Mohamed Abdallah. The guests inspected all the booths and were briefed by the skill-link.com UAE Country Manager Heba DeMaurissens on skill-link.com activities and progress in the Emirates.
Ms. DeMaurissens was also interviewed on TV and she stressed that one of the main reasons for skill-link.com participating in such an event is to attract UAE nationals and encourage them to seek jobs in different industries and not only focus on careers with government and national banks.
Visitors to this event were from the UAE and Sheikh Zayed Universities in addition to graduates from the Higher Colleges of Technologies and from other private universities and high schools. Certain hours of the event were ladies only, to encourage their participation. In parallel to the exhibition, four workshops were offered to participants: Professional Success, Searching For The Right Job, Self & Career Development, and Excellence In Customer Service..
