1st Prize Awarded To skill-link.com career guide

skill-link.com has just published, in cooperation with the Guézira Rotaract Club of Egypt, a guide for job seekers addressing various issues related to approaching employment opportunities. 
The guide "Your Passport To Professionalism" was awarded the first prize in this year’s Rotaract annual conference, which recently took place in Bahrain.

Aiming at helping young professionals with valuable tips and information related to their career, “Your Passport To Professionalism” covers numerous topics, ranging from writing a professional CV to interviews and follow up letters. Numerous samples and useful tips are provided to the readers.
 
Your Passport To Professionalism” also contains profiles of several successful executives, tracking their careers and their how they view their professions. This was thought to be providing a useful insight to the readers on the real employment world.

A reception, at the Cairo Marriott on June 18th 2001, was held to celebrate the launch of the guide as well as its winning of the first prize in this year’s Rotaract annual conference in Bahrain.

About Rotaract:
It is an international organization of service clubs for men and women aged 18-30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in business and promotes international understanding and peace. Rotaract goals are to develop professional and leadership skills and to emphasize respect for the rights of others.

Today, there are some 155,000 members in more than 6,750 Rotaract Clubs in 146 countries. Members of the Rotaract Clubs of District 2450, which includes six countries, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Sudan, have established a bond throughout the years.

The Guézira Rotaract Club was founded in 1998 and has undertaken several successful projects over the past three years. This year, the Professional Development Committee worked on implementing an integrated vocational program targeting ambitious young people in the society.
