The weekly Egyptian business newspaper "Al Mal" published in mid May 2003 an interview with skill-link.com's Chairman Sherif Samy concerning the recent labor law just approved by the Egyptian Parliament.

Sherif stressed the new regulation introduced in the law addressing recruitment services. He bitterly criticized it for not differentiating between various segment of the recruitment industry, such as head hunting firms and online portals (eg. skill-link.com). As it stands, lots of bureaucracy - if the law is to be followed to the letter - stands in the way of foreign companies interested to identify suitable candidates to be recruited in the Gulf or other locations. skill-link.com's CEO presented a number of suggestions he hopes would be taken into consideration when issuing the law's executive regulation.
