The Egyptian Ministry of Telecom & Information Technology is currently evaluating the merits of introducing eLearning (or eEducation) to the country, and the best approach for its wide scale use.

For that purpose, the Ministry has formed an advisory committee to present relevant recommendations with regards to the introduction of e Learning in Egypt, its focus (undergraduate degrees, post graduate, or short non degree professional courses); and relevance to the job market needs.
