Cairo University's Faculty of Economics & Political Science organized on March 30th 2005 a forum addressing the job market and employment prospects for Egyptian university graduates. Sherif Samy, skill-link.com's Chairman was invited as a guest speaker to address the attendees. These comprised professors, students, business professionals and media representatives.

Sherif Samy's presentation covered a number of hot topics related to Egypt's employment situation and the job market. He discussed the paradox of high unemployment and shortage in a number of job categories. He also presented an assessment of opportunities for Egyptian professionals in foreign job markets, discussing the Arab Gulf and less known opportunities in advanced industrialized nations, which Egyptians could benefit from.
