The site was developed and hosted by skill-link.com in appreciation of the quality and contribution of the AGTBE alumni benefiting various corporate entities and organizations in Egypt and the Arab region.

The Association was established by Egyptian former recipients of the Chevening Scholarship to serve as a network group to promote links between scholars and alumni in Egypt, and with others worldwide.

The association is divided into several committees to facilitate planning activities in different areas: The International Relations Committee; The Professional Services Committee; and The Cultural Committee. AGTBE also issues a newsletter that keeps members updated on all activities and plans. The association welcomes messages from Chevening Scholars all over the world and looks into strengthening its links with the industry and business community in Egypt.
