It is this time of the year when applications are solicited for the British Chevening Scholarships. Here is your chance to fully fund one year of graduate studies in the university of your choice in the United Kingdom. The scholarship covers course fees, living allowance and return airfare.
The British Chevening Scholarships, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, are prestigious awards enabling overseas students to study in the United Kingdom. The scholarships are offered in more than 150 countries and give talented graduates and young professionals the opportunity to become familiar with the UK and gain skills which will benefit their countries.
In Egypt, the British Embassy is offering up to 50 Chevening scholarships for Egyptian nationals to undertake postgraduate study in the UK during the academic year 2004/2005. The Chevening program is managed by the British Council and generously sponsored by Vodafone, MobiNil, HSBC Egypt Bank, Sainsbury's, GlaxoSmithKline, BG International, BP Egypt, Shell Egypt, Shalakany Law Office, the Arab-British Chamber Charitable Foundation, Royal & Sun Alliance and British Airways.
